Could you ask her inspiration and what suggestions martha has for creative uses of the flor tiles --- perhaps to decorate the patio for an outdoor spring party, or to freshen up a drab pantry? Back in the early 2000's (the pre bobby jr years) I wish I had these for my van.

-- what does she think about the recent primary?

-- ask about her old career as a model --- did she feel more liberated at that time, or now as a famous homemaker

-- does she ever make mistakes? how does it make her feel?

-- is it hard to be a strong successful woman without being perceived as a b***yatch?

-- if she could have dinner with anybody in the world, who would it be? (translators are allowed)

-- if she could have desert with anybody in history, alive or dead, who would it be?

-- she lives in Connecticut, right? where does she feel most comfortable? at home --- traveling abroad --- at 2nd home elsewhere. big city or small town

-- what is her favorite part of her career? the parties; the money; the power; making everyday people's lives more joyous

-- why is she doing this interview? did she write a book? is it for her new FLOR carpets? department store stuff? what's up?

-- what's her advice for mod*moms ----- what does she think of modern home design?

-- did she invent 'shabby chic'?

Congratulations! How are you involved in the Flor? I guess I will find out when I hear the podcast . I love those and am thinking about purchasing for my new store front I opened up. Will definitely add some brightness.

How exciting!!! I think Martha is great-- she's always been a hero of mine! :) I love FLOR, too, so the idea of them teaming up is just perfect! You are so lucky to get to do an interview with someone who works so closely with her. :) Congrats, Kristen! I'm so happy and excited for you!

The House of the Future sounds so exciting!!! We have a Carousel Of Progress here, too, and I still get a kick out of it... I wonder if we'll get a House of The Future? :D They would probably give something like that to Epcot nowadays.

the podcast is supposed to go on flor + marthastewart + mod*mom,
but i was at my gym in a studio, because i didn't have time to get home after seeing my oncologist + dentist, plus i was hiding from my daughter. but unfortunately a personal trainer + his trainee came into room just before i had to call into the podcast. they got out big balance balls + i said, oh please i'm going to phone interview the creative head of martha stewart, + they said they'd be quiet,+ i had to call in to the podcast at that time, so i attempted a few times, + time seemed to speed up. then i was on the call + the noise in the room rose, so i opened a back door + tried to go outside, but there was construction noise of a buzz saw, so i went back into the main gym
where there was background music. the producer said to proceed + they couldn't hear it, but when they went to edit it, there was a lot of background noise. today,
they're doing the main editing + trying to get the noise out, but it probably won't be good enough for martha stewart quality standards, so i'm disappointed, but have a glimmer of hope. it was a wonderful experience + i really enjoyed talking with martha's creative genius kevin sharkey. i'm loving martha's blog too! she so captivating + takes the best pictures of course + tells lovely candid personal stories with them.

i hope they'll atleast let me post it on my blog.
there's still a chance they'll remove the noise + get it approved,
but they wanted me to know the noise was a big problem.

Congrats again, Kristen! How exciting! I love her old modeling photos-- I have some stashed away somewhere and I can't locate them... I need to go through my files this summer and do some major scanning/reorganizing. :)
