I love the fact that the root 6 is only 3.3lbs! A great size for vacuuming the car, or those hit and miss areas. It would be great to meet Sir Dyson, I love his products!

Wish I was in NYC to meet Dyson, he seems like an interesting man.
I love that the Root 6 is so portable and maneuverable, it would be fantastic for the very long, steep stairs we have. I also love the Issey Miyake version. But honestly, the Animal version would be perfect for us, since we have six cats and it seems like I am forever cleaning up cat fur.
as a mother of two and a wife of a guy who misses every detail, this vacuum is perfect for car cleaning and quick pickups. im a big fan all Dyson vacuum cleaners. a friend of mine owned one and I would end up borrowing it almost every other day. It was so easy to clean out that I wouldnt mine "co-owning" one.
I love my Dyson Animal Vacuum...but it is hard to clean the stairs with it. The Root 6 would be perfect for the stairs, and as a great replacement for the "other" cordless vacuum I keep on hand for the small messes.
I am so lucky already that you are having a Dyson contest again! I love the root 6 style.
If I met Sir Dyson, I would ask him why the upright vacuums don't have automatic cord rewind. Otherwise, they are fabulous, but I can't make it to New York. So someone please ask him about automatic cord rewind

Oh I love my Dyson. I have the original upright vacuum. The very first one! I would love this for various incidents involving my four year old. I love the easy empty feature. It's so awesome not to have to touch the filth.
Cool giveaway! I love that it recharges so fast, and that it's easy to empty out. My current handheld vac (a cheapy from Sears) fails on both of those counts. And really, this one looks so cool - like a Star Wars ray gun. That's just an extra bonus feature!

Greetings! First of all what I like about the Dyson brand is its' reputation! This particular model is very nice because of its' smaller size and lesser weight! This makes it easy to handle. I've been lusting over the Dyson since it came out. it is one of the most modern design-savvy piece of cleaning equipment ever made! I know that James Dyson cares more about the cleaning ability than the design, but it really is a beautiful piece of equipment. Plus I have a couple of cats, so this is the ONLY way to go!

I want a Dyson. My favorite feature is that it's Hygienic and quick to empty. My current vacum has a filter and it takes a lot of time to clean the filter for reuse.
I think that my favorite feature would be the SIZE - perfect for all those little things - even stairs I would think would be easier with this than my big old thing!!

Love the compact size (easy for a mom who's carrying a baby to use) and that it's hygenic and quick to empty. With the need for quick pick-ups everyday in my family, my fingers are double-crossed!

There are two things I really like about it. First, it is supposed to sweep well on all floor surfaces. Many times a broom doesn't get everything so being able to sweep the kitchen floor with this sweeper would mean I would probably get more dirt picked up. But what I like best is that it is great for those with allergies.
I love that it's lightweight, easy to empty. But the best feature is that it doesn't remit all of the dust and allergens back out through the exhaust-great for people with allergies, like my son & husband. I covet the large Dyson vacs, and this is great for our little place!
I like that it is easy to empty. My vacuum kicks up so much when I use it, I have to have my kids go in another room and wear a mask. I am highly allergic to several things. This would be so nice to have, to be able to breathe while I vacuum!!
I love the info about been asthma friendly! I suffer with this since I was 6!! And here all vacuum cleaners are so big and heavy! I really need one of this...I can´t go to NY to meet him because I live so, so far, in Brazil! kisses!

I love the hygenic and quick to empty. The lightweight handvac that I have now is so icky to clean. :( And a handvac is sooo necessary in our house with one toddler and one preschooler. :)

I love the portability due to its size and the fact that it is a bagless vacuum.
I keep hearing about Dyson vacuums, but I've yet to try one out. I love the lightweigh-ness of this one, and the color is great, too! :-)
First off, I love that it's a Dyson, because I've heard nothing but awesome things from people who have them. I think it's great that it charges quicker than other models - I've had trouble with that on other hand vacuums I've had before. And also, the weight (or lack of) is an incredible feature that makes this truly a first choice for quick pick-ups. :)

The two things I like the best about the Root 6 is that it are:
1) That it is a hand-held vacuum. I HATE dragging out a big machine.
2) The design reminds me of a blaster from Star Wars...I might even get my boys to do some vacuuming this way!
Love the low weight, high ower, and fast recharging. Totally can kick my dustbuster to the curb.
When reading the advertisements and the design features about the Root 6 hand held vacuum, I can't help but get excited about 3 things. 1)I don't have to wash my hands or scrub my nails after empty the canister! 2)I don't have to wait a day for the Root 6 to recharge! 3)It is lighter then my exercise dumbbells! The Root 6 would make cleaning up after a toddler a dream!

What I would like most about the DC16 Root 6 Dyson is the fast charging time and the ability to have the motorized brushbar for pet hair pick-up. We have pets and it would be very useful. We also like the Dyson brand and have the full size pet Dyson vacuum and it does a great job. Very cool product. Thanks for the opportunity to enter.

My absolute favorite feature is the fact that Dyson vacuums really clean like they say they do. My friend has one and I pine for it. One day! My favorite techincal feature for this one is the weight. At just 3.3 lbs it is easy to wield and works great for tight spaces. Oh please please please pick me!

One of my biggest cleaning challenges is lugging around our heavy old upright vacuum. Having the Root 6 would definitely help me keep things tidier around here and make it possible to keep the car clean too. As for meeting Sir Dyson? That would be beyond cool!

Just having a heart attack makes the 3.3 lbs sound like a cinch to use,along with the no changing of bags.

With two small kids, a dog, and a Marine for a husband, the fact that it is up to 3 times faster to recharge is a godsend. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten one mess cleaned up, only to turn around to find /another/ one to do, as well.
Oh man, this is awesome!! We have a Dyson and it's the best thing ever. No bags...love that!! But, this little sucker (LOL!) I have to have one of these...weighing at about 3lbs. and can work like a champ for 6 minutes...that's pretty good. It'll get all the nooks and crannies too...I think I'd probably be doing more with the root 6 than blogging...

I have lots of steps and this vac looks very lights.
As a Basset Hound rescue volunteer, I have a minimum of five Bassets at a time in my house. Despite their short coat Bassets are known to be "heavy shedders." I would use it to clean the hair out of my car, staircase and tight corners. Hey I may even vacuum a dog or too!
The light weight--for obvious reasons.
I have two cats and this handheld vacuum would be wonderful for cleaning fur off my sofa, bed, etc. I so hope that I win this little gem!
