mod*tot is learning to sew. santa brought her a little singer sewing machine.
today we made ballet dancing shoes to wear with her tutu, tiara + wings.
she had some ballet lessons on youtube, then did lots of improvisation :)

How fun! I think it would be fun to learn to sew! WOW~ you made ballet shoes! That is impressive! Lucky gal~ everyone feeling better? We had those ickies at our house...and we are still trying to get over it here.

That's so cute! I'm 23 and just had my own baby last May and my mom is JUST NOW teaching me to sew, too. I wish I had learned at a younger age!

Fun, fun, fun! My 6 year old has been begging me for a sewing machine. She wants to be just like mama (smart girl!) ;) I hate the cheap plastic ones so I want to get her a real one but I am afraid she'll sew right through her finger... she is so clumsy! LOL!

modkidboutique mommy: the singer totally me sewing machine has a plastic guard around the needle (i sewed through my thumb as a kid with our real sewing machine-ouch!

rita: the ballet shoes we made are just for fun + practicing with the scissors + machine. i got her a $7.99 pair at target yesterday too.
