What a big girl! No cavities is great! So far my three are free of them, too. Phew!! Good for her :)

How awesome that mod*tot’s first dental experience went so swimmingly! I was told that as a kid I was the worst—they had to hold me down. But that’s probably because I almost always had a cavity… (sigh). I love that graphic you used, by the way! :D

I just want to let you and your readers know that I’m working on behalf of the California Association of Orthodontists (CAO) to spread awareness on braces treatment—when the time is right and how to choose the right orthodontist (try the Find an Orthodontist Locator service). The CAO is a great resource for parents to learn more about how their kids can get and maintain healthy smiles—we even have braces-friendly recipes! Orthodontists attend an additional 2 to 3 years of specialized education after dental school. They recommend that kids come in for a check-up no later than the age of 7!
