celebrate the temporary
don't wait until tomorrow
celebrate the simple things
enjoy the butterfly
embrace the snow
run with the ocean
delight in trees
or a single flower
go barefoot in the wet grass
until all the problems are solved
or all the bills are paid
you will wait forever
eternity will come and go
and you will still be waiting
live in the now
with all the problems
and its agonies
with its joy
and its pain
it means you're alive
stop grieving the past
there is joy and beauty
it is temporary
here now and gone
so celebrate it
while you can
celebrate the temporary

That's really, really nice. Did you write that?
It's a refreshing reminder. I've got a lot of things on my mind I can't seem to figure everything out, but I will remember to enjoy intead of just worrying.
This is awesome...Thanks for the reminder!
LOVE IT....did you write it...my husband always reminds me when I'm feeling 'blue' that it's temporary!
i found this poem about 20 years ago framed at a craft fair in lake tahoe. it says "author unknown"
LOvE it! I love the clock too. What kind is that and do you know where I can get one?
This is beautiful. Just what I needed today.

This is lovely, mod*mom.
That is sooo true! It's easy to get caught up in feeling bad when I can't have everything go my way. Then I miss out on the good stuff going on. I'm going to memorize this!
Just what I needed too!
this is so nice. thanks for sharing.
Oh I was going to congratulate you on your poetry skills ;) It is nicely written. I can't say I live by it but tomorrow I'll start or the day after that... ;D
Love this. Thanks. Love your entire blog. Too fun!
That's fantastic! Thanks for posting it!
MM- This reduced me to a blithering blob. Thanks for the reminder. XO
The poem comes from an entire book by Clyde Reid...(entitled Celebrate the Temporary)
Seriously as nice as this is, read the book because it really explains each item and is a very powerful life changing book.
