My favorite is the school years keepsake journal because it's illustrated b S.Britt + it's really a neat way to organize school facts + momentos.
We *heart* Taro Gomi in this house! Doodles and Squiggles are two of our favorites (as well as Everyone Poops, aka "the POOP book"). My boy really loves the Flip-A-Face books from Chronicle too.
Our favorite is the Little Finger Puppet Books, whether it's the Ladybug or the Bee, etc. It really captures the kiddies' attention and make them laugh, for some reason. :) Love it!
Roo's been on a big Olive the Other Reindeer kick lately but the mini-Masters board books are my fave Chronicle Books for kids.
Our favorite book of the moment is "Spring is Here" by Taro Gomi. My daughter (20 mos) loves the soothing words and pictures so much that now I can even turn off the nightlight and murmur it to her. She will anticipate the page "The storms rage" by making raging noises in her throat, and add sighs for the wind at the right points too.
Sorry, my url didn't post: http:mommysmartini.blogspot.com
We love the finger puppet books.. we havent progressed to the others yet
I love Mrs. Mustard's Baby Faces! My baby girl goes nuts whenever she sees baby faces...even on diaper boxes! We don't have this book...but now that I know about it, I'll be sure to get it!
I think my favorite books are between Kitchen Playdates:Easy Ideas for ... and pretty much anything in the kids section, but my baby is loving the Little...:Finger Puppet Books, my three year old still loves those.
MY favorite Chronicle books is "Scary Stories" by Barry Moser, Peter Glassman because I love reading scary, spooky stories, and this one looks really good!
I haven't read any of them but Gomi's book look adorable.
Mrs. Mustard's Baby Faces is my 9-month-old's favorite book. I always have it in my diaper bag these days, because looking at the smiling faces nearly always puts her in a good mood. As for me, Chronicle has several great cookbooks that I love, including one that's exclusively Mac & Cheese recipes.
My favorite are the Finger Puppet Books (makes my boys giggle!). The Wheels on the Bus with felt play things looks pretty awesome though...
Hi, I love the Boxed Set of the Finger Puppet Books! Please enter me in your marvelous contest. Thanks,Cindi
We have two favorite series, The Ivy & Bean Series and the Hot Dog and Bob series! Both great!!
Mine would hav eto be the one I just ordered "N is for Navidad"!
I love the 'Mini Masters' series of board books. We have the Picasso one and love it!
The Cow Finger Puppet Book is my fave.
Olive the other reindeer is our current favorite=). firstname.lastname@example.org
I like the Giant Pop-Out Pets book. As we homeschool, we are CONSTANTLY on the lookout for books and other materials. :O)
Cute! I think that "Everybody Poops" is a hoot!
I love the Cath Kidston Recipe Organizer
The Mini-Masters boxed set is a big favorite in our home - the verse set to the works of art is beautiful and brilliant!
We love so many Chronicle books! Right now my three-year olds favorite is the dictionary of Dance!
I love Eric Carle: A Journal for Baby's First Year. Just the best!!
I really like the Little Cow Finger Puppet Book.
we love Olive, the Other Reindeer at our house!
I'm actually a giant Chronicle Books Fan. We love Olive, the Other Reindeer, but their LAB series is also super popular in our house. Their art books are great too.
We just welcomed our new baby girl and named her Ivy. A few weeks after she was born my best friend passed along a link to 'Ivy and Bean'.
The Akers family mom (me) and kids love: Little Hoot, A is for Astronaut, Sparkle & Spin, and Bagel's Lucky Hat. And Buzzy's Balloon. And the Mini Masters Set.
flip a face and little finger puppet are favorites
we just discovered taro gomi this year. my daughter loves teh book and I love the creativity unleashed.
My daughter loves her finger puppet book - she just cracks up
The Worst-Case Scenario Handbook series has been a big hit with my family.
The finger puppet books are so much fun for my little ones.
Olive the Other Reindeer was a favorite this year, but before that it would've been Everybody Poops :0)
I really like "Who Loves You, Baby?"
I think I'll have my 6 year old enter that contest. She is so into drawing and she is really good at it too. Ever since she could hold a crayon she could draw it just comes naturally for her.
Okay, brace yourselves: Favorite:
Everybody Poops is by far my most favorite book! It's hilarious!
This looks like a fun book for little ones: Painting with Picasso.
fingerpuppet book, so so sweet!
Currently we are in love with Good Night, Fairies (Kathleen Hague) and My Friends (Taro Gomi).
We love Little Pea! And we sent several Taro Gomi doodle & scribble books out for Christmas presents this year- we are huge fans!
we vote for everybody poops.
I like the " Everybody poops" book!
I love Spring is Here by Taro Gomi. Also the SAMi books are fun for little kids.
We love Mommy Hugs and Daddy Kisses! It goes without saying that we hug and kiss our little guy whenever we get the chance, but now that he's more mobile he doesn't like sitting still long enough for us to shower him with affection. So we look forward to story time because that's the only time he'll sit still, and these books give us the perfect opportunity to combine our hugs and kisses with one of his favorite quiet activities.
The Nickelodeon IOU Checkbook: 40 Checks You Can Write to Your Friends is my favorite. It teaches children about giving through kindness not just materially. The actual act of fulfilling the check is very rewarding for the kids.
We have been fans of Gomi's books since Jokin' was just a wee thing. Spring is Here was one of the first board books. My Friends came next. Everyone Poops is a present I give every friend starting potty training with their munchkin. But we cannot go a day without pulling out the Children's Miscellany books or the Spot 7 series. Maybe it's a "five thing," but Jokin' is obsessed!
Up, Up I Go Growth Chart by Eric Carle looks like it'd be fun!
My daughter is really into the "Spot 7" books right now!
"Mama do you love me" is the sweetest book and I love the illustrations.
My kids have enjoyed Olive, The Other Reindeer. Quirky story and great illustrations.
My son loves the book "the Animals' Picnic". It's very simple and short, but he loves the rhyming and pointing out all the animals! I love Taro Gomi! email@example.com
