i found out about mineral make up the hard way. i hadn't worn make up in about 4 years + tried some plant-based foundation, not knowing i was allergic to one of the myriad ingredients + i had a very bad allergic reaction.
some mod*mom readers recommended mineral based makeup + i LOVE it.
to enter to win a mineral fusion fresh face starter kit, watch the mineral makeup video podcast, leave a comment on the podcast with http://modmom.blogspot.com in the "website" field so they can track your participation, then leave a comment on this post before midnight, monday october 29

These products look great. I think they would be great for my sensitive skin.
Great video. I am looking for some new mineral makeup. I really like the the mist. My face looks dry when I use my mineral makeup. That mist could really help
Good information, I'd love to try it.
I think that this is a great product and I can't wait to try it!
I bet that makeup feels awesome on your skin! Next time i get to go to wholefoods i might pick up a little something for myself.
Wow what a great product I am definitely going to try this make-up. I love the fact that it's good for your skin instead of the opposite like most make-ups. Thanks for sending this podcast my way !
I have my fingers crossed! I'd love to try this!
That was educational too! I like the techniques she uses to apply makeup without having to touch your face.Specifically liked the foundation which didn’t make the model look “overdone”. I like the concept of minerals since natural is SO much better for skin (especially as an everyday substitute).
Holy smokes! This stuff looks awesome!
I would love to try this out since I am hopeless with makeup but the nearest Whole Foods is four hours away!
AWESOME GIVEAWAY!! And perfect for Breast Cancer Awareness/Prevention Month!! I am hosting a Pink Plaid House Party tomorrow which also supposts the cause, I am going to share this with all my guests! And thensome!!! Pick me to win!!!!!
I just started using Arbonne mineral makeup and like it okay. I have to use the concealer also. Would be interesting to try this brand too. Thanks for the cool giveaway!
Hey I posted on the podcast and put your blog in the website line. I really like the podcasting concept for their store.
Always interested in trying new products!
Sounds great! I've never tried mineral make-up before. I have Rosacea and my face is quite dry. This sounds like a safe product for my skin to try! Love that it's good for your skin and natural!
What a great contest. U rock!
I love mineral makeup also and have been switching over all of my products slowly. I'm interested to try this kind!
I'm really excited about trying this! I've had a terrible time with any and all products on my face, with incredibly sensitive skin. On my wedding day, I broke out in hives all over my face from a "calming moisturizer" - the makeup artist was in tears and so was I! I can't use most moisturizers, face washes, make products, etc., even if they say "sensitive skin" on them. My skin is a little beyond that! It makes it very unexciting to get myself all dressed up. I think that this would be a good chance to branch out a little, and it seems that they have up-to-date colors, so I can stay in the loop a bit more with my make-up, for once!
I love mineral make-up!! This gift would be wonderful!
As you can see from my blogger name, I have fair skin with dark freckles. Finding a foundation that doesn't look ridiculous is just impossible, so I go without. I would love to try this:)
I left a comment there.
Love to hear about new stuff with natural makeup. Hey! If you're going to eat natural food, why not use natural stuff on your skin?!?
I love mineral makeup!
I'll give it a whirl!
L-O-V-E mineral makeup & would love to try out this brand!
I visited the site and enjoyed the informative podcast. I haven't tried mineral makeup yet but am excited to try more natural forms than the usual suspects.
This product looks amazing. I would love to try it!
Watched the podcast. It was very informative. Need to get some mineral makeup now. =)
I LOVE Whole Foods! These products look great!
Unlike most woman shoes or purses isn't my obsession, its makeup, I really enjoyed watching the podcast and found some techniques very interesting and will try them. I would love to try this makeup because I love the natural look with makeup instead of looking way to made up. Thanks.
I would love to compare how this rates compared to the brand that I wear.
My sister-in-law uses mineral make-up and loves it. She was converted over from Big Sister is watching Mary Kay.
Thanks for the link to the Whole Foods podcast on mineral makeup. I have tried the Loreal mineral makeup but some days it makes my skin look dry. I never thought of using a mist!
I did all you asked...gladly. Thank you for the link to the podcast, I actually learned from it! lol.
Ironically, it was other reader's posts at Whole Foods that alerted me to your blog (which I mentioned on the Whole Foods blog).
I am such a huge fan of Whole Foods! I'd love to try this and my face absolutely needs it! Please randomly select me!
My face needs help! :)

This is a great video and I am going to enjoy this new mineral makeup.
Now that I'm getting older I really need to take care of my skin. This sounds like something great for me.
Holy CoW! Would I love to win this make up kit! I LOVE mineral make up, use nothing but!
I'm a HUGE fan of mineral makeup, but have been in the market for something new. I've never heard of this brand, but def looks like it's worth a shot! I'm super interested in the face spray.
I listened and got some mineral make up at the store. Couldn't wait to get it and I'm loving it.
I've had acne for twenty years; I'd love to try this stuff out!
What a fabulous product! I've never heard of Mineral Fusion before, but now I can't wait to try this product.
Hmm, cool. I've been wondering what the big deal was with mineral makeup. Now I should go, as I've got to rush out and get me some!
I loved that video! I have heard so much about mineral makeup these days and it was great to hear about their products and how to apply them. I hope I win!
Thanks for the link to this video! I have been looking around at the different mineral makeup products out there. I have sensitive skin and have just quit wearing liquid makeup. I now wear just powder but don't get the coverage. Lots of good tips here for application!
pick me, pick me! I'm a mom to three boys under three... I need a good makeup that easy to wear and easy one my skin! SO PLEASE!!!!!!
