2008 presidential candidate's video responses to eradicate breast cancer breast cancer is a highly visible cause whose research breakthroughs will hopefully benefit eradication of all cancers , diseases + disease causing chemicals in beauty, hygiene + household products + the environment. women have a 1 in 8 lifetime risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer. this year alone more than 240,000 women will be diagnosed + about 40,000 women will die from this disease. the american cancer society has a $700 million dollar annual budget + susan g. komen raises over $50 million per year, yet after years of research, we still don't know specifically what causes breast cancer, how to prevent it, or how to detect + treat it effectively or without surgical removal of healthy tissue, nerves, lymph nodes, skin + nipples, or without ovary + nerve destroying chemotherapies. the presidential candidates were asked how they'd eradicate breast cancer. watch their videos + read their written responses about their plans here. by ~mod*mom~ at 21.10.07 © 5 Comments:That's a great post! This is very interesting - thank you for sharing the link. I have to ask (though I think I know the answer)... Who is correct, you or Hillary? Her video and written statement both say that we will lose 400,000 women to breast cancer this year. Your number (40,000) seems more accurate and for obvious reasons I hope it is.
