I love the rocker in ocean. The cloth pennant flags are so cool. They would look great in our basement/playroom! So bright!

By Blogger Jen, at 5/09/2007 5:48 AM

I would take that rocker in ANY color.

My favorite products are the duc duc bunk beds, the seat belt bags, and the Fundy play table

By Blogger Brooke, at 5/09/2007 5:55 AM

I love the potty bench - it's designed by someone who actually used it and everything from design to price is right. What a beautiful prize!

By Blogger motherbumper, at 5/09/2007 6:42 AM

I love the trike with a push bar (it would be perfect for our little guy) and the diaper bag in black and white. Oh, and the rocker. Definitely this rocker.

What don't I love at the Sparkablity? Okay, I love that chair and I love the Villa dollhouse so much that I want to move into it! So please consider me entered in the amazing giveaway.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 6:49 AM

Besides the Eames Rocker of course, I would say the Mobile Home, the ducduc Filmore Loft Bed and the Sigg Kids Bottles. Yay to your mother's day giveaway! Waving from NYC!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 7:03 AM

what is there not to love? love the rocker! all the ride-on toys. the storytime rocker. all the furniture, decor. love it all.

By Blogger k8theriver, at 5/09/2007 7:10 AM

Well geeze! You keep intoroducing me to all these rocking sites and expect me to choose my "favorite" product? Too cruel! LOL. Lets see, in my price range I am totally feeling the magnetic play garden. How absolutly freakin adorable! Now, out of my price range, mommy can i pleeeeasse have a villa sibi doll house!?! Please? Oh wait, i am the mom

By Blogger anavarre1331, at 5/09/2007 7:15 AM

And Eames rocker! Awesome. There's so much to love at Sparkability. But the Alexander Girard Alphabet Blocks never fail to catch my eye.

By Blogger Gabrielle of Design Mom, at 5/09/2007 7:16 AM

I love so many things on their site, the highchair, the cradles, the rocking duck, etc and of course the rocker above!

By Blogger Lucy, at 5/09/2007 7:17 AM

Nurseryworks Rocker

I love that they have so many options for relaxing in the kids room. This one especially as it seems to allow for both the parent and child to sit and read.

Lord knows I turned out someone balanced as an adult because my parents spent time reading with me.

But how cool would it have been to have been able to rock-and-read in style.

My favorite Sparkability product is the Sibi Max! So beautiful.

By Blogger Charlie, at 5/09/2007 7:29 AM

When I was a child I used to dream about one of theese toys...( http://www.sparkability.net/mobilehome.html )...now I'm a woman, I still love houses...(I'm an architect :P )

Btw, I think Sparkability sells great ideas...(also some ideas from one of the greatest designers of 20th century...I'm just in love with his chairs!)

ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDIN' ME! Sparkability is giving away an Eames rocker!!!! OH HOW I LOVE SPARKABILITY!

Here's what I love most (though it was hard to choose just a few): The Nurseryworks crib - I sooo wanted to get that for my little one, but never did. I want the Villa Sibi dollhouse for myself (and the baby girl I'm sure to have some day.) My husband wants the Floating Fish Mobile. I also love all the decorative items and toys.

Please let the stars align and let me win this rocker!!

By Blogger Cincinnati Dentist, at 5/09/2007 7:57 AM

Oh wowsers. I would love this rocker. What an easy way to enter... Well, I have to admit, first of all, that I am not a mommy yet. I can't wait to be one, and so I do often find myself dreaming and surfing through baby/kid sites like sparkability. my favorite product, though, has to be the piggy bank with a surprise amount of money inside. not only is the piggy bank beautifully crafted, but money inside? are you kidding?? i don't care if it's one penny inside. still cool.

By Blogger traci, at 5/09/2007 8:05 AM

I love the city trike.

By Blogger Jim Nellis, at 5/09/2007 8:21 AM

Ok so my favorite is this one http://www.sparkability.net/blst.html

I love it love it love it. it is small perfectly sleek and designed just right for rolling/pushing around.

and it looks good.

please pick me for the rocker - that chair is awesome.... please pick me pick me.

By Blogger Unknown, at 5/09/2007 8:32 AM

I love the clothes tree. I have always had a love for trees and living in Brooklyn doesn't always accommodate that, so I like to bring tree decor into my apartment. It is beautiful AND adorable!

By Blogger honesty, at 5/09/2007 8:33 AM

I adore their wooden blocks. When I was growing up-times were tough, so father would take his left over wood and cut them into smaller pieces and and round off the edges. Imagination is a great thing, but so is color and design--which can take imagination to a whole new level. Thank you for letting me relive a memory. :)

By Blogger koyore, at 5/09/2007 8:44 AM

Oh my god, my very own Eames rocker? I'd probably have a seizure from all the explosive joy! Hmmm.... Sparkability... Love the MobileHome (am completely obsessed with dollhouses and am practically counting dow the days til my 8-mo-old daughter will be old enough to play with them so I'll have an excuse to by all the fun dollhouse stuff!). Also love all the ducduc playtables.

By Blogger Heide, at 5/09/2007 9:02 AM

umm...i would have to say that THIS is my favorite sparkability product! i would flip over a eames rocker in my house. i'll rock my child till he's 12 if i get this!

By Blogger Carrie, The Modern Housewife, at 5/09/2007 9:04 AM

I love that rocker. And I love the Goodnight Glider. The egg nightlight is a favorite. Sparkability is a great site.

By Blogger greatjencreations, at 5/09/2007 9:09 AM

Wow, I have actually been wanting one of these really, really badly. Especially since I got pregnant again- due in late July. The glider chair I got for my first pregnancy is super comfy but also hideously ugly. I am trying to justify purchasing one because now we're in a split-level ranch and the baby will be upstairs with us in our bedroom for at least a couple of months, far away from the gigantic glider in his bedroom... anyway, orange and grass green are my faves but if I won, I would probably have to consult my husband...

And I love EVERYTHING on Sparkability. Obviously the shell rocker, but the Nurseryworks and DucDuc stuff are incredibly great, too.

By Blogger Superdumb Supervillain, at 5/09/2007 9:12 AM

I love, love, love all of the beautiful furniture - especially the
nurseryworks dresser.

By Blogger AngelaDean, at 5/09/2007 9:15 AM

I always go to Sparkability for inspiration for baby gifts. My favourite piece would be the Manhattan Library bookcase: My first job ever was working at a children's bookstore. I love children's books! and my second favorite piece would be the red rocking horse simply because, how cool is that thing? I would be tempted to go on it myself!

I would love the chair as my husband and I have been eyeing it forever. He insists that it would be perfect for his study and I think it would perfect for me to sit on when I am nursing (when we actually have a child). If I win, then it's mine to use however I like! :)

By Blogger Karen, at 5/09/2007 9:30 AM

Mom*Mom: This sight is absolutely incredible. Just what we've been waiting for ! We especially like the Low-Rider Glider. It fits right in with our practical modern aesthetic; also looks comfortable and most importantly easy to clean.
Thanks for the tip --- you're the greatest!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 9:32 AM

I'm digging all their mobiles and Ilvoe the new egg product trend that is out right now.

I love this chair, white is my favourite. There are so many great things on the site, of course all the furniture is amazing, but I'm in love with the felt booties and whale mobile.

megan_md_brown(!at!)hotmail(.)com

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 9:40 AM

Their toys, maple blocks, their furnature and their plate and cups set for kids are great.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 9:48 AM

sea holly crib bedding, mod*mom. that is my favorite, right behind the rocker. pick me! please?

By Blogger Missy, at 5/09/2007 9:49 AM

ok, seriously, this is my favorite chair ev-ah. and sparkability is one of my fave online stores! my husband and i go crazy over that OKO trike with the panel on top. sooo cute!

By Blogger Anna, at 5/09/2007 9:54 AM

I like the Lullabaloo rocker and the Keith Haring wall decals! Thanks, Allison G (allison@seanet.com)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 9:59 AM

it's no coincidence...the arm shell rocker is in fact my favorite.

By Blogger chris roeleveld, at 5/09/2007 9:59 AM

I can't decide on just one, but I especially love the Dombo cup (it's not only used by kids, but also by adults who are going through physical therapy) and the P'kolino Klick table+chair because I'm really into modularity at the moment.

By Blogger Beverly Hsu, at 5/09/2007 10:09 AM

wooden bikes! wooden bikes! LIKEaBIKE Mountain

and of course, love the eames rocker... who doesn't?

By Blogger 12345, at 5/09/2007 10:11 AM

I love the Sigg kid's cups (the animals are so cute) as well as the wall decals.

By Blogger Tao Master, at 5/09/2007 10:13 AM

I love the Mobilehome because it incorporates my favorite bits about design: portability, recyclable materials, awesome prefab architecture, primary colors and, of course, affordability.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 10:34 AM

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 10:35 AM

I love that rocker! Their Lullaboo Cradle also comes to mind, but when I start browsing their website I can't choose just one thing.

By Blogger lochan, at 5/09/2007 10:35 AM

I am currently loving the new clothes tree. Very fun.

Needless to say, that rocking chair is killer and I would love to win!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 10:50 AM

It would probably be quicker to tell you the things I don't like at Sparkability. Actually, that would be the world's shortest list. I think my favorite is the Geuther Filou chair or the Binth Baby book.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 11:22 AM

I've had my eyes on the Fuji Toy Box and the P'Kolino cubes for a long time!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 11:34 AM

I've never been in love with a rocking chair as I am with the Eames Rocking Chair! It looks super comfortable, especially for rocking our wee one to sleep. OH MY GOSH! It would be so amazing to have one! I think one in White would be the most sensible, and whimsical, colorful throw pillows would be so fun to switch out often! On to the love of Sparkability products, I'd say the Svan High Chair really appeals to the desire to maximize comfort and provide ergonomic support for "the squirmy one". And I hope one day I can get that The BoomerToo Bed, it's so incredibly non-fussy and sleek, with a great nook for reading and dressing, love it! Yeah, it's crazy hard to pick just one favorite item -- Good Luck, everyone!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 11:49 AM

I love the rocker in ocean.

By Blogger Jane, at 5/09/2007 12:06 PM

i love the rocker, the tykelight buddy, the candeloo, and the cool egg teether, among many othe things!

By Blogger Sarah, at 5/09/2007 12:08 PM

I'd have to say that sparkability's toys, in general are the best. what's not to love about engaging items that both me AND my baby can enjoy? i got the alex girard blocks not long ago. Hope (my three-year-old) and i both love them, her for their imaginative possibilities, i for the beautiful design sensibility. what cheap plastic toys can you say actually look great in your house. boy, an eames rocker would do the same thing, now wouldn't it...

By Blogger nyff, at 5/09/2007 12:11 PM

Me, I've always loved the wooden fish mobile!

By Blogger Richard, at 5/09/2007 12:25 PM

Hi, I just love the dynamics of this chair. I love that its a-traditional, and it doesnt take up too much space.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 12:31 PM

I love the MobileHome cardboard dollhouse but there are SO many things on the Sparkability site that I love.

By Blogger alisonrae, at 5/09/2007 12:32 PM

My favorite is this rocker!

By Blogger CPA Mom, at 5/09/2007 12:38 PM

I'm not a mom, but I love this chair and I try to post products for design-conscious moms on my blog. I love that they are really focused on design. There are so many hideous products out there that haven't been updated for the year 2000.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 12:46 PM

I have the chalkboard table set and it's brilliant! It looks beautiful and it's really fun. Every kid who comes over draws something and they play with it in all different kinds of ways.

The Oeuf Mini Library is another favorite, and the Monster Plates are super cool. Oh, and the hard maple blocks look beautiful, every kid should have nice wooden blocks!

Thanks for the contest!

By Blogger zelia, at 5/09/2007 12:48 PM

I, of course, love this rocker. I fancy the manhattan bookcase too!

By Blogger Becky, at 5/09/2007 1:07 PM

The rocker is one of my all time favourite design pieces. Sparkability has so many lovely things it's hard to choose, but their selection of ride-on toys is awesome - I want the Lullaboo Rocking Horse for myself!

By Blogger Lindsay Yuasa, at 5/09/2007 1:12 PM

Ok, I have to pick just one? I love this store! The rocker, fabulous. I mean, how wonderful would it be to rock your baby to sleep in? That would be a dream come true.

Of course, the candeloo's I've been wanting forever for the kid's bedroom. Make going to sleep with these little fellows next to them a delight.

I have to say the toys they offer are just amazing and would be happy to get just about anything! How could you go wrong?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 2:05 PM

Oh sparkability how do i love thee....let me count the ways:

I'm head over heels for the adorable flag banners. They're perfect for the nursery or decorating a birthday party.

I'm also drooling over the nurseryworks dresser. Beautiful, practical...so lovely.

And of course the armshell rocker which has been on my wishlist for quite sometime. I have the chance to win one? Yes please!!

pick me! over here!! pick me!

By Blogger tara, at 5/09/2007 2:10 PM

I love the diaper caddy and the svan bouncer. fun, modern stuff.

By Blogger Angela, at 5/09/2007 2:20 PM

celery or charcoal rocker. perfection.

By Blogger Superdumb Supervillain, at 5/09/2007 2:25 PM

We ordered nurseryworks bookcases through them, and we are so happy. Everything on the website is lust-worthy! Debra

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 2:44 PM

I love looking through the decor section of Sparkability - such great ideas for fun kid rooms!

By Blogger Maureen, at 5/09/2007 4:14 PM

My favorite thing for sale in the shop is their cute little piggy bank. So simple and wonderful.

By Blogger Nolan, at 5/09/2007 4:24 PM

Love all of their bookcases and storage solutions.

Please enter me. Thanks.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/09/2007 4:39 PM

I've always loved Nikki McClure, and this journal is such a great way to track the little changes.
http://www.sparkability.net/fi10dabajo.html

Wall decals are the best way to change a room-- without a lot of commitment. These apples are so modern, so preppy, and yet so classic at all the same time. http://www.sparkability.net/apwade.html

By Blogger m-l-e, at 5/09/2007 4:43 PM

I totally covet the lullaboo changing table. COVET. And this chair.

By Blogger art-sweet, at 5/09/2007 5:16 PM

Wow..I love the ducduc PJ armoire and the bench box on coasters, and the owl clock -- I could go on and on...

By Blogger Julee, at 5/09/2007 5:21 PM

my faves are:
- the giant rocking horse
- the perf boxes
- and of course, the arm shell rocker

By Blogger Wendy, at 5/09/2007 7:16 PM

The rocker rocks. For now, though, I think little Jack and I might like the Alexander Girard Blocks to play with. Thanks!

By Blogger Unknown, at 5/09/2007 7:54 PM

wow..my favorite would be the clothes tree. perfect for a little girl who keeps thinking the floor is the place for clothes!

By Blogger Ruzana, at 5/09/2007 8:03 PM

I have never seen anything like that! I absolutely LOVE it!

By Blogger Abby, at 5/09/2007 8:10 PM

What a fantastic set of rockers at sparkability! In addition to this classic eames I love the goodnight glider and the storytime glider.

By Blogger Dan, at 5/09/2007 10:48 PM

I am so in love with Alexander Girard's alphabet blocks. Forget kids; I want my own set! ;)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/10/2007 12:03 AM

I realy like the Baby lounger: http://www.sparkability.net/babylounger.html
because of it's simplicity. I'm from The Netherlands and we think our design products are worldfamous, but the baby seats you can buy here, you don't want them in your house! Wish I could buy the lounger without the shipping costs. hmmm. Colors for the lounger, i'd prefer a brown-blue.

and the rocker, white should fit nicely to the brown/blue lounger...

By Blogger Unknown, at 5/10/2007 1:20 AM

The question is...What don't I love about the products on Sparkability? I wish I could furnish my whole nursery with all their goods! But...to name a few...the shell rocker (of course!) in any color, the SVAN bouncer, the Nurseryworks 3 wide dresser, the star egg nightlight, ducduc ANYTHING, and many, many elephant wall decals to fill my little babe's room with good vibes!

By Blogger Christine, at 5/10/2007 1:20 AM

My favorite is the Ed Carpenter-designed Thorsten van Elten-made "pigeon light." And I would love an orange Eames rocker!

The Elephants Mobile and Built-by-Me bench. Sparkability equals modern sensibility.

By Blogger Unknown, at 5/10/2007 6:53 AM

We (my son husband and I) love the Like a Bike! it's beautiful and it works so well - my baby is still a bit too short to ride it but he plays with it and can't wait to ride it like a big boy!

I absolutely LOVE the Sibi Max push car and the red wooden rocking house made in Sweden. Both are modern takes on classic toys that actually look great in the middle of the living room and are fun for kids to play with. Sparkability a wonderful website that has revolutionized modern parenting! And, of course, the rocking chair has always been one of my favorite mid-century pieces.

By Blogger cacrafter, at 5/10/2007 7:21 AM

I am finishing a basement and looking to create a really cool and chic kids playroom. I had never been to Sparkabilty before today, and I am hooked. I love the rocker that you are giving away and the benches and other chairs on the site. Thanks for the cool tip! Oh and pick me please!

By Blogger Rachel, at 5/10/2007 7:34 AM

I love Sparkability and have ordered their wall decals when decorating my son's room, and ofcourse this chair would be a wonderful addition.

By Blogger orngpikkle, at 5/10/2007 8:08 AM

will be a first time mom in 7 weeks and thought I had everything a baby needs until my own wonderful mother visited me last weekend for an early mothers day (we live far apart) and exclaimed "you need a rocker!" I hadn't even thought of it... and now only have eyes for the Eames rocker at Sparkability, but sadly my nursery budget is depleated and I can't bring myself to bring a wooden country style one into our mod loft.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/10/2007 8:14 AM

A) I looooove Sparkability
B) my favorite thing on the website is ... well, okay, i have two favorites: the manhattan crib (which i'll never be able to afford) and the elephants mobile (which i definitely will be buying)

I've purchased quite a few things from Sparkability including a bunch of different PlaySam streamliners, a rocking rabbit and of course Candeloos! I love playing with the Streamliners as much as Snowflake but the rabbit is a tad too small for me. :)

I am CRAVING that ooba nest crib and the ducduc Filmore loft bed? Delicious and perfect for my daughters first big kid bed! In fact - I might get it for me until she's ready! We picked up the sibi max last year - and really - feel like the coolest parents on the block. No Big Wheels here!

Happy Mother's Day! Good luck everyone!!

Sparkability is a great site. I'm so excited to see House and Mobilehome there now, since I think they allow a child to really use their imagination and participate in the process of decoration and design, which is what it’s all about.

The Eames rocker is the perfect give-away too--what a beautiful piece of furniture, and to me it perfectly sums up modern motherhood: elegant, playful and soothing, all at the same time.

By Blogger Paris, at 5/11/2007 1:20 PM

The Eames Rocker is the only rocker I'd actually want to have.

I also love the ducduc Sam Crib - it's easy to reach into and the orange cubbies are gorgeous.

By Blogger laila, at 5/11/2007 2:19 PM

There's quite a lot to like on sparkability. Some faves include:

The eames chair speaks for itself.

Being a woodworker I am drawn to the wood pieces, the several ride-on toys like the likeabikes and rockers are great. The games are good too, get them away from the TV and engaged in discovery. You have to also love the simple maple wood blocks... classic. Also you are always going to need more storage, so the PJ armoire can hold a ton and showcase your mini-picasso.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5/12/2007 9:44 AM

This rocker! I had hoped to get one BEFORE the baby was born but it never happened ... This would be the perfect Mother's Day present for me and my son!
