The best piece of advice? Gosh, let them sleep in the carseat if it helps. Do whatever it takes to get a few hours of sleep :)

Scribbit's advice is right on! I remember putting my oldest down for naps in the car seat, I think he liked how snug and secure it felt!

Best/nicest piece of advice I've gotten is from parents of teens who stop me on the street to say "it only gets better!" Love that!
