Pierre Cardin! Whoa. My Dad always wore his stuff but I never imagined that the designer of such normal clothes lived in a place like that. It's so... so... round.

There is an old Newfie joke (I'm not sure what State you pick on down there but up in Canada it's usually Newfoundland) about telling a Newfie to go pee in the corner of a round room... this reminds me of that joke. Hee hee :)

i get the joke motherbumper!

i'm feeling better from chemo + surgery fitgerald, but i'm freaking out about starting radiation next week. i had hours of cat scan + laser guided treatment planning area marking + target tattoos thursday. i'm not looking forward to 6 weeks of daily radiation. but, i have to remind myself to be grateful to be alive + to have the temporary discomfort of a treatment that may be saving my life. isn't that cheery :D

Barbapapa was a french cartoon from the 70s about a family of shape-changing blobs (Barbapapa is French for 'cotton candy' or 'candy floss' as it's known in the UK) http://www.barbapapa.fr/
It's still insanely popular in France and Japan (of course).
