I love that it's available without a contract, and the QWERTY keyboard!

I need one to check my emails on the go!

By Blogger mel, at 11/21/2008 6:13 AM

Dear mod*mom,

This would be perfect for my elderly mother who could not, in a million years, navigate a Blackberry or even a desktop. You see, she has mid stage Alzheimer's and this device would allow her to receive messages all day long from her children and grandchildren. We could email pics etc so we could be in constant contact with her. My mom would get the stimulation she needs and we would be better able to stay in touch because we could send our messages throughout the day and evening. With work, kids, etc we don't always have time to call and talk for an hour in the middle of the day when my mom really needs the contact. I also thinks this would help the grandchildren to be in touch. You should tell Target to market this as a receiving device for older people.

Thanks for your blog and the opportunity to comment on the Peek.

Sincerely,

Ruth Williams

I would totally get this for my mom! She always complains about not having a bad internet service connection at work. This would definitely solve her problem. I really like the fact that you can check up to 3 email accounts on it.

By Blogger Unknown, at 11/21/2008 6:53 AM

This would just make my life so much easier. Checking email on the go? How simple! With a new baby coming (who is totally mobile) I need to be mobile too and it will be hard to be attached to my computer all day!

By Blogger Pickel, at 11/21/2008 7:14 AM

I love the fact that you can access your emails anywhere. My mother would LOVE this!!

By Blogger Brooke, at 11/21/2008 7:50 AM

Access up to 3 e-mail accounts and unlimited use for monthly fee (although wonder what that is). sounds lovely.

I love the full qwerty keyboard. it would save me from all the typos i tend to make on my blackberry with my big, clumsy thumbs! sugary79@aol.com

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/21/2008 8:42 AM

Its got to be the qwerty keyboard. I hate trying to type on my regular phone - this would a welcome change!

Email anywhere with no hassle of contracts.

OMG! To be able to check E-mails remotely without having to worry about all the other "stuff" on handheld devices would be divine for a luddite like me!

By Blogger PunditMom, at 11/21/2008 5:51 PM

We travel often around the world and it would be awesome to be able to keep checking my e-mail.
That way I wouldn't have so many waiting for me when I get home.

Besides not having to have a contract, I love the 2.5" screen size since my eyesight's not what it use dto be! This would make my life easier by giving me the ability to do all my online business on the go...With a busy toddler, that's becoming a necessity!LOL! Thanks!

I know that this is going to sound a bit ridiculous, but I love that it has a QWERTY keyboard! My phone has predictive text which is so annoying when I'm texting to my hubby's emails. This way we can email back and forth and I don't have to use my phone at all.

I would love to have my email readily assessable! Especially since we are hoping to adopt and it would be so nice to know when we have important emails and to be able to communicate when we aren't at home!

Very, very cool.

I'm wondering when they are going to make something like this with a wider keyboard, or an expandable keyboard. I just hate the feel of texting for typing.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/24/2008 11:18 AM

That is awesome. I love that I would not have to turn on the computer to check my mail -- of course that would mean that I would be checking my email ALL THE TIME.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/24/2008 5:35 PM

I love that it is a portable device with larger screen than a cell phone. It would be so convenient to carry for email.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/24/2008 6:42 PM

I like that there is a flat fee for the monthly contract

By Blogger valerie2350, at 11/24/2008 6:50 PM

I like that this only does email. I think that Peek is a great way to have portable email with out all of the bells and whistles of the blackberry. I don't really need facebook mobile. A peek would let me use the phone for talking and bring the email along when I need to have email.

This awesome little device would allow me to be on the go with my kids and not tied down to a computer or at the office. Email is my number 1 mode of communication and therefore I could still get work done but be out and about with my kids at the same time.

I also love the QWERTY keyboard! I HATE PHONE TYPING! HATE IT ;)

Thanks for this opportunity!

I like that you can access multiple email accounts. I don't have email support on my phone, and i'm often on-call, which means I have to stay close to a computer. Having something like this would mean I could go out and do things with my family and stay in contact with work.

By Blogger Brian, at 11/25/2008 12:28 PM

Wow, no contract is so wonderful! I like the fact that you can access multiple email accounts. Thanks for the giveaway.

I love the email! Also I blogged about your giveaway at one of my blogs www.saveyoursense.blogspot.com

By Blogger Unknown, at 11/25/2008 9:54 PM

Mmmm, nice keyboard!!! And wow, would it be cool to be able to check emails away from home. That would've come in really handy for me last week when I missed a deadline just because I was unavoidably away from home and didn't get an email in time.

By Blogger Wendy, at 11/25/2008 11:17 PM

i like the who deal of having no contract, i don't even own a cell phone and contracts are one of the main reasons why. i would use this as a quick way of getting touch with people while i'm away from home... whether it be vacations, work or school.

I love the fact that this little baby has flash memory. No hard drive problems is definitely a big plus!

I have (gasp) no cell phone; never have so I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to own one of these. I've heard many nice things about these and would take good care of it, love it and call it George.:)

I have a very cheap, plain cell phone now and I've alway been envious of people who can check their email with their phones. I'd love to have this while I'm at work and without internet access; I'd be able to check my emails before I get home. What a blessing that would be.

my favorite feature is the full qwerty keyboard. i'd use it to keep track of all my son's little preschool friends

By Blogger wigget, at 12/08/2008 4:45 AM

I like the unlimited email. We do Ebay & this would make communications with potential buyers much more efficient. Also if I found something I wanted to sell, while I was out & about, I could look it up to see if it would be worth listing.

By Blogger Unknown, at 12/09/2008 4:16 AM

I would LOVE to win this!! My favorite feature is that you can access more than one email account--that's important for me since I keep up with both a school and personal account. This would make my life SO much easier because my husband and I don't have cellphones (I know, I know, we're the last people on earth. . . ), but we keep up with email since we're both on computers a lot. This would be GREAT for when one of us isn't in the office. Thanks!

My New Year's Resolution for 2009 is to keep in better touch with people, by trying to write at least 1 long, social email a day (I'm bringing letter writing back!). The Peek would make my new goal SO much easier!

By Blogger Sarah, at 12/09/2008 6:06 AM

I love the 3 color options, though I'm boring and would go with gray. But I also like that it is the full QWERTY Keyboard. One reason I don't text with my phone...I hate the keyboard on it!

This would keep everyone in touch with their email while on the go. It would be a great gift for those who just can't cope with a computer and we all have a few like that in our families.

I love being able to access emails anywhere so I can keep track of things for school!

I like that you can up to 3 accounts! How cool!! This would make my life SOOOOO much easier. Not only would it help with blogging and such, but it would be ultra handy in June. I'm the Public Relations Director for the Miss Nebraska Scholarship Pageant and I like to spend my week helping with what I can, but I'm usually tied to the house fielding PR's and requests.

Thanks for the chance to win!

I would find this to be invaluable because it would really be a great gift for my husband. He is a youth pastor and constantly pouring into the youth of our church. A BIG way that he connects with them is through the internet. This would be SUCH a huge blessing for him. Please choose us! Thanks for having this giveaway!

I love the Full QWERTY Keyboard. This would be a lifesaver because I hate typing on a normal cell phone. Thanks!

By Blogger Ilissa, at 12/14/2008 10:30 PM

To be honest, I never knew such a thing as this ever existed. As you can tell, I am a stay at home mom of soon to be three kids who doesn't frequent the electronics department enough because I would have already wanted one of these!! Hahha!! I could foresee this making my life so much more manageable! I am always on the go with the my two toddlers plus I am expecting my third soon so I really dont' have much time to sit in front of a computer to catch up on my e-mails. Thanks for a great giveaway :)

Love the 'keyboard' - - that's one thing I miss about my sidekick: QWERTY.
I love the fact that you can use it almost anywhere (except in our local schools, as not even my cell phone works in there!).

I love that it has a Full QWERTY Keyboard, 8MB Flash Memory, easy to use & scroll, nationwide coverage, Ultra thin. It would make my life easier by allowing me to always check and send my mail. Its small & easy to use. And I have acid burnt vocal cords so my voice is permanently damaged so it would allow me to communicate all the time and easier than carrying around pen & paper.

Just being able to check my email on the run during the entire day would make my life much easier - I would always be in touch with my co-workers

By Blogger NASCAR Race Mom, at 12/15/2008 12:15 PM

I definitely love that there's no contract involved because who knows what's going to change and when? This would so come in handy to be able to check email on the go because I have a 2-year-old and another baby due any day now and I don't feel like I'm going to have much time to sit at my computer soon!

Thanks!

Nice device, but I fail to see its usefulness. I can do all of the above and much, much more w/ my iPhone 3G.

Seems a bit....useless as far as the utility of the device goes.

Just my two cents.

This is just annoying. Why would you have a giveaway if you don't intend on choosing a winner?
