mod*tot is loving nursery school + today was her 3rd day. i'm still hanging out there to make sure she's getting comfortable, but today i just had to get a chest xray before i see my cardiologist next monday + i can't bring her into the xray room, so i told her i was going to get zapped at the doctor + be right back before snack time (she knows she can't go in the zapping room, from when i had radiation daily for 6 weeks a few months ago. she hand motioned me to go + when i came back in an hour, she was sitting in a row boat outside with another little girl. yay!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteDo most of the other moms stay with their babies in nursery school on the third day? Maybe it is just where yall are from, but we don't do that here.

Also, I read earlier that you said mod tot has NEVER had a babysitter. Does that mean you've never left with her anybody but you or your husband? That's crazy; and seems unhealthy.
I don't mean to be judgmental, but I was just curious how you do that!

ReplyDeleteanon: i don't think is usual to stay on the 3rd day. mod*tot's in a "child centered" school, rather than a teacher centered school + they want me to make sure she's comfortable. it is probably because she's never had a babysitter. we would have loved some help, but we never figured out about hiring anyone + she breastfed until she was 2 1/2, then when i had cancer treatments our schedule was at the mercy of lots of different doctors, + before we knew it, she was 3 1/2 + ready to start nursery school.
