This is a fabulous company! We don't homeschool, but we read several books a day and this company has something for everyone in our family. These are books we won't outgrow. Herb,The Vegetarian Dragon has to be the most intriguing. It's hard to pick. I love riddles too.

I love the "Map of the World" Play Scene with the stickers! It's so international!
And living in London, it's fun for my son to learn where his grandparents live, where his friends live, etc. and to see it all on a map!

My favorite is the new book on adoption Motherbridge of Love. My son loves it because it tells a beautiful story of two mothers: a tummy mama and an adoptive mama.
I love barefoot books international and mulitcultural coverage and would love to add to our collection, as we have one child from Russia and are adding another from Guatemala this summer/fall.

We love The Prince's Bedtime. Such a sweet story. I won't spoil the ending for those who haven't read it...but a worthy read for sure!
"We All Went On Safari" is my son's favorite counting book that daddy brought home for him from Africa. And I just noticed they have "We're Sailing Down the Nile." I must invest in that one, too! The illustrations are exquisite!

I'd be interested in Animal Tales from Around the World to read to both my daughters who adore animals and love to hear about places they've never been.
I've never heard of any of these books, but The Animal Boogie looks like a lot of fun. I love books that are active for kids, and this one seems perfect!
I have never heard of this company, but after looking at the site, it looks like they have some great books! One of my favorites on the site is Star Seeker. This is an obvious favorite for me since I love looking at the star. The illustrations in this book are amazing. Thanks.

I have never heard of this company before now but will be looking into it thanks to you! The books look amazing and the illustrations are simply beautiful. Off hand I think my favorite would be "We're Sailing to Galapagos" because my best friend is a Avian / Marine Biologist and she is always sending pictures of the places she goes. My daughter loves to look at the exotic animals she sends in pictures and asks questions about where they are from. What a fantastic set this is!
I love the broad range of books, and I love that there are books in Spanish as we are trying to teach our children it.
I love all of their books! (At least all I've seen. : )) We got Elephant Dance at the library and I looked up the publisher online b/c I liked it so much. I really want to read Babushka!

fave book is Whole World because it teaches diversity (which my family has) and working together to save the world. My family is trying to live green so this book would be perfect! The princes bedtime looks great too!

Herb the Vegetarian Dragon! We are raising our daughter vegan and this book would help her feel good about the choices we are teaching her.
I've been buying Barefoot Books for years. Bedtime for Bunbun is one of my all time faves! Also, anything illustrated by Clare Beaton.

Unfortunately I don't know any of the books listed but have read all of the comments thus far and would love to win it for my girls (Patience and Piper). I read one to two books every night before bedtime and this would be a great add on to our small collection of aready read (over and over) again books...please count me in!!!
I don't think we own any Barefoot Books yet, but the catalog looks super. The Boy Who Grew Flowers sounds great, and I love the sample pages. My daughter is only 11 months old, but has started a strong love affair with books already. How cool!
"I Took The Moon For A Walk" looks like a fun book. My kids love books about nighttime.
herb the vegetarian dragon would be our fave, we have several vegetarian/vegan friends, and I love to encourage our kids to try, and hopefully learn to love their veggies!
I haven't heard of these books, but they look fabulous! I definitely will take a look at these the next time I am at the bookstore. The Safari and Around the World ones sounds so intriguing.

These books look awesome! I love how colorful & multicultural they are. I also love how the art is really showcased in these books. My preschoolers love animal stories, so I think "Who are You, Baby Kangaroo" would be a favorite of my kids!

I like the Aligator alphabet floor puzzle. My daughter recently has had a passion for letters and this puzzle would be a great interactive way to help her in the learning process.

Thank you for sending me in the direction of this company! Every book is gorgeously illustrated, and the range of tales is so broad. My fave is Motherbridge of Love, a poem about adoption. Really incredibly stunning. I just might get this for my pastor's wife. They've adopted two children from China, and are extraordinary at combining both the Eastern & Western worlds in their children's daily lives.

I love the Travel Journal and World Floor Puzzle. It is so neat for children to see the world and incorporate games into their travel.
The Bear books, and the Barefoot books of Pirates and Princesses have been long-lived favorites in our family.
This looks like such a great package of well-chosen educational materials.
Map of the World is perfect. I love geography and would love to teach my sons early on about places/cultures all over the world.

I am a teacher's aide at our local school and we have the "Bear in a Square" in our class. The children love the bright colors of this book.

The "Great Race" is a wonderful book about the Chinese Zodiac, "Child's Book of Faeries"-we love faeries-they are so mystical and the Barefoot Book of Blessings is a must have for any family-a nice look at the beliefs of people around the world. My little boy loves to exercise with me so we love the yoga books. I love in general that these books make learning fun!! They bring to life things that are hard to explain such a where people live (our world puzzle)and things like adoption etc. Our family loves to read and we are always trying to teach our children about the world around us.

This site is new to me, but I've seen the "I took a Walk with the Moon" book before. The one titled "Herb, the Vegetarian Dragon" sounds hilarious.
What lovely books! I think the book I Took the Moon for a Walk would be perfect for my 4 year old grandson. He is afraid of being outside after dark, and I think this book would really help.

What an awesome company. I love their beautiful books. Gorgeous illustrations. My favorite is the Mrs. Moon Books & Cd. I love this book/cd combo for getting my little guy to sleep. It is our bedtime ritual to have stories and then soft music for him to go sleep. It would be nice to have this set to combine the two.
Very cool line indeed. Not only is it great the these are eco friendly, but have family on the other side of the world (and trying to get a toddler to understand why she can't see them everyday) makes these books even cooler. With the world map, we would be able to show her where her cousins, aunts and grandparents are in China and Spain.

I've heard about these books on a few other mommy blogs, and I think I'm finally convinced to buy some. My toddler is too young for this yoga book, but as soon as I can bend her into a pretzel, we'll be reading this one together.
Wow, how can you add to all these comments? Both of my kids love books, and I love these for the fun and interactive elements. From a snuggling book, to a lay-it-on-the floor activity, any and all would make a wonderful addition to any home. :D

As a a former teacher I loved the literacy selections - too hard to pick one but since my littlest one is so little I like the Alligator Alphabet. What fantastic illustrations these books have!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for leading me to this company. I have been searching for books that my daughter can learn from, cherish the artwork, and pass on to her kids and barefoot books seems to fit the bill. I think that my husband and I would rather enjoy reading the Barefoot book of blessings to our little one since she is our biggest blessing.
Wow! This is the first I heard of this company and I love what I see! I just bought the "Tales From Old Ireland" book for my kids. My husband's family came over from Antrim county in the mid 1700's but they've lost most of their Irish heritage over the centuries. I'm excited to have a way to honor that heritage with my children.

We like Herb the Vegetarian Dragon. My daughter just found out where her hamburgers come from (even though they're grass fed beef :) ), and is now a committed vegetarian.

Just taking a look at their website I am really impressed. I have never heard of this company before, but their website had me at "printable sheets". I am always looking for freebies, and they even sell art from their illustrators! What an awesome idea, it seems like a very cooperative company.
