I went to the store to check out samples and I'm loving the toy poodle line, specifically the boo boo citron and la la lime. The fabulous names make that line even more desireable. I also really like shagri-la, which is super soft. I love FLOR because of the infinite possibilities considering my finite budget. Alexander Girard was a colorist extraordinaire. I love his modern take on folk art symbols. You can't help but be happy in a room with his designs. As far as his designs for FLOR, I like the blue colorway the best. Later when I lived in New Mexico, I periodically visited Girard's collection at the International Folk Art Museum. He has informed my aesthetic-from the love for adventure and folk art, to the making of my own art. I would like to imprint my 10 month old daughter with his energy, love of color in her new playroom.
