my blog template "code" is wonky. i customized my blog "skin" 10 years ago in 2004 using code snippets from webmonkey, before iPads, smartphones + Google's Chrome browser existed. Blogger has even changed to a new template code platform + a kind Googler invited me to the GooglePlex to help me recreate my template on Google's new template platform, but i stubbornly cling to my DIY code. i like to customize things. most of my blogpals jumped the blogspot ship years ago (even Blogher is sponsored by wordpress + gives workshops on wordpress at Blogher conferences). I can't figure out the code, on Google's blogger website + forums, to change my custom template mobile view colors + style CSS, or how to fix my template code to display across all browsers + devices uniformly.
at MakerFaire, i was the guest of Tynker kids coding company, which teaches code with pre-coded graphical interface buttons to customize games. mod*tot has used Tynker at school for "day of code" but i wanted to see what it was all about. They debuted coding your own toys + other hardware controlled via iPad app like a remote control.
i always look for ways to expose us to creative + educational resources. school's almost out, we hope to make a summer camp with an HP Sprout touch smart, which has a projector, scanner, touchmat :D
we can use the HP Sprout standard apps to learn piano, edit movies, make books, design art projects, + access code academy + web monkey + mozilla + tech museum + computer history museum + the library +
+ Tynker + Apple store + chroniclebooks + noStarchPress
