kim rosin is a south african textile designer trained in fine art, art history + textiles. she's worked for top interior design + architecture companies in london. this experience, along with her heritage in african art, led her to develop a highly individual style + create her own vibrant colored prints she's put on fabrics + turned them into homewares + accessories.

  7. I'd have to go with peas, overall, but it's a tough call. Birds and grasshoppers are also really great.

    Simple a-line toddler dresses with matching bloomers and wraparound mommy skirts would be FANTASTIC in Kimthings fabrics, too... just a suggestion...

    For me like for a diaper bag,etc...Allium. I love purple.

  27. The kimthings patterns are representations of everyday scenes but your
    first impression is that you are seeing a beautiful work of art. I
    particularly love the grasshopper pattern, the geometric weaving of the
    succession of grasshoppers -- and it works for male and female use which is
    a requirement in my kitchen!

  29. the grasshopper and the peas are my favs, with the grasshopper in the lead because the green matches perfectly with my green kitchen walls! plus, they have such sweet expressions! much fun can be had cooking while wearing these for sure!

  36. Gosh, it's a toss-up...either the grasshoppers or the owls. The only thing about the grasshoppers that I don't like are that they kind of give me the heeby-jeebies when I think of looking at them while cooking but the print is so fun!
