shower me, baby! online baby shower this weekend!!!

shower me, baby! is an online baby shower this weekend for liz of mom101, christina of a mommy story + tammie of soul gardening. go join the fun!!!
my advice for the new moms is to get as much sleep now as possible, read dr.sears baby book, drink lots of water + breastfeed as long as you can.
some advice i was given before i gave birth that i don't agree with is to make the baby follow your schedule, join your routine + be convenient.
go play shower games + join in the festivities at shower me, baby!

  1. Thanks mod*mom! That photo has always haunted me. It's kind of how I'm feeling these days except I think those feet could actually break through the surface. My daughter the judo master...

  4. That photo is wild!

The best piece of advice? Gosh, let them sleep in the carseat if it helps. Do whatever it takes to get a few hours of sleep :)

  6. Scribbit's advice is right on! I remember putting my oldest down for naps in the car seat, I think he liked how snug and secure it felt!

  7. Best/nicest piece of advice I've gotten is from parents of teens who stop me on the street to say "it only gets better!" Love that!
