sneak preview illustrations from 'follow the line: through the house' coming out in the spring, published by viking. it's the sequel to the ultra-mod 2006 picture book 'follow the line.' the museum of modern art in nyc, features laura ljungkvist art in the gift shop window displays + catalog.

  3. I absolutely love your site. All the colors and images make me feel really happy. Everything in your site has a wonderfully child-like feel, yet there's also an air or adult sophistication. Does that make sense?

    Anyway, I had no idea that mod was so vivid, and bizare, and beautiful, and colorful. I love everything about it.

    I assumed that the predominant art form of the 60's was Pop Art, and that Pop Art was mostly flat yet brilliant colors like that orange and white dish set, or the egg bird feeders. Is mod therefore a much larger form of expression and style?
